What are the connotations of "Kach es ha'Levi'im"?

Rashi: It means that Moshe should take them with words 1 - that he should pursuade them by telling them how fortunate they are to be servants of Hashem. 2

Targum Onkelos and Targum Yonasan: It means ?Bring the Levi?im close?.

Oznayim la'Torah: This required no small mesure of pursuation, since it entsiled relinquishing their portion in Eretz Yisrael and it meant that they would become reliant on others for their Parnasah.

Why does the Torah insert the current Parshah here?

1.

Ramban: After counting the Bechoros and the Levi'im, and instructing the Levi'im with regard to their Avodah and their various charges and distributing among them the wagons, the Torah concludes the Avodah of the Kohanim. 1 Now, it is necessary to purify the Levi'im and to atone for them before actually instructing them to come and serve in the Mishkan. 2

Oznayim la'Torah: After appeasing Aharon over his omission from the inaugutation of the princes, 3 the Torah now his tribe, by pointing out that they were chosen to serve permanently in the Mishkan and in the Beis-Hamikdash, and that their 'Korban' was greater than that of the princes.
