What is the meaning of "Nisisi va'Chachmah"?

Ibn Ezra #1: I tried to become a bigger Chacham [but was unable]. This is like "v'Al Tischakam Yoser" (16).

What is "Echkamah"?

I.e. even though the Torah warns a king against taking too many wives, lest they veer his heart, amidst my Chachmah I will not veer, so the warning does not apply to me. (PF)

Why did he say "v'Hi Rechokah Mimeni"?

1.

Yuma 14a: Shlomo did not understand Parah Adumah. R. Avigdor - the Gematriya of "v'Hi Rechokah" equals that of Parah Adumah.

Rav Sadya Gaon: I am far from understanding them fully.

Ibn Ezra: Even though the Chachmah was far, I attained it.

Rashbam: I cannot understand the deep Chachmos.

Ri Kara: I was punished for this {taking too many wives, amidst relying on my Chachmah}.
