What do we learn from "v'Amad v'Ra'ah"?

Rashi: He will lead Yisrael. Radak - after the affliction, Melech ha'Mashi'ach will rise and lead Yisrael "b'Oz Hashem."

Malbim: He will overpower the nations and lead Yisrael.

What do we learn from "b'Oz Hashem"?

1.

Malbim: He will stand against the nations with Hashem's strength.

What is "bi'G'on Shem Hashem"?

1.

Radak: It is the judgment that Hashem will do to those nations with His strength and grandeur that He showed to them. All ends of the land will fear Him. He will 'graze' Yisrael with serenity and security, each man "under his vine and fig tree, and no one is afraid" (4:4).

Malbim: He will shepherd Yisrael with the grandeur of Hashem's name ? "va'Haricho b'Yir'as Hashem v'Lo l'Mar'eh Einav Yishpot" (Yeshayah 11:3).

To where will they return?

1.

Rashi: From Galuyos [to their land].

2.

Radak: To dwell securely and in Shalom, forever. Malbim ? "v'Haysah Menuchaso Kavod" (Yeshayah 11:10).

Why does it say "Ki Atah Yigdal"?

Rashi: Their king will grow until the ends of the land, and they will bring a gift to him on horses and chariots? 1

2.

Radak, Targum Yonasan: The name of Mashi'ach will increase after judgment of the Resha'im.

Yeshayah 66:20 says that the Goyim will bring a Minchah to Hashem on horses and chariots. (PF)
