Why does it say "va'Yet Yado Alav va'Yakehu"?
Malbim: This is a metaphor, like one who raises his hand against his colleague, and hits him.
What are "he'Harim"?
Rashi: They are the kings of Yehudah and their officers.
Radak: They are mountains. It is a metaphor, as if the mountains are agitated and the land is noisy for them due to their great affliction.
Malbim: They are mountains. There will be an earthquake, and the residents will be swallowed.
What is "ka'Suchah"?
Rashi: It is like saliva and vomit that is expelled from the body. It is repulsive. Chachamim call this Sechi, and it says "Sechi u'Ma'us" (Eichah 3:45).
Radak: It is cut off. The Targum of "Lo Sizmor" (Vayikra 25:4) is Lo Sechasach. The grammatical form of ka'Suchah is like "v'Shakulah [Ein Bahem]" (Shir ha'Shirim 4:2).
What is the meaning of "b'Kerev Chutzos"?
Rashi: They will be despised among the Bavliyim.
Malbim: [The dead bodies] will be outside (not buried).
Why does it say "b'Chol Zos"?
Rashi: [In spite of] all that came upon them.
What is the meaning of "Lo Shav Apo"?
Rashi: They did not fix their deeds, to deflect His anger from them.
Radak: He did not deflect His anger, because they did not repent.
Why is His hand stretched out?
Rashi: To do to them [more] evil.
Malbim: To strike them more via harsher enemies and afflicters. This is like David said - "Niflah Na v'Yad Hashem Ki Rabim Rachamav uv'Yad Adam Al Apoleh" (Shmuel II, 24:14).
