Radak: He will not take anything. This is like "vela'Rash Ein Kol" (Shmuel II, 12:3).

Malbim: If the Kinyan does not become part of him, he cannot take it when he dies. If he gives to Tzedakah and does good deeds, these are his also after death. If not, his honor is not real; it will not remain with him.
