What is the meaning of "Azvah Yesomecha"?

1.

Rashi: [Abandon] the orphans that you made in Yisrael [via killing their fathers. I will sustain them!]

2.

Radak: This is connected to verse 10. After [Edom's] seed, brothers and neighbor were plundered, there is no one to say to the Chalal 1 'abandon your orphans - I will sustain them.' I.e. if you will die, do not worry about those who remain after you, for I will sustain them. No one will say so to him, for all will die. There will not be a remnant, like it says "v'Lo Yihyeh Sarid l'Veis Esav" (Ovadyah 1:18). Azvah is a command, like Azov.

3.

Radak citing Targum Yonasan: You, Beis Yisrael, you do not 2 abandon your orphans - I will sustain them.

4.

Malbim: The orphans that you abandoned (you left your land without guards from the enemy), will I sustain them?!

1

I.e. one who is about to die. (PF)

2

The verse does not say 'no'! Perhaps the verse is in astonishment - do you abandon your orphans?! (PF) Malbim explains that it is in astonishment, but differently (refer to 49:11:1:4).

2)

What is the meaning of "Alai Tivtachu"?

1.

Radak: [Your widows] will trust in me. Tivtachu applies to females [even though there is not a feminine ending], and similarly "va'Tikrevu Atzamos" (Yechezkel 37:7). One sign of femininity (Tov at the beginning) suffices. Also [mi'Goy Ya'amodnah" (Daniel 8:22) and "va'Yisharnah ha'Paros" (Shmuel I, 6:12), one sign of femininity (Hei at the end) suffices.

2.

Malbim: [The widows that you abandoned when you left your land unguarded], will they trust in Me?!

Sefer: Perek: Pasuk:
