Radak: Sometimes the suffix Yud Mem is used for the feminine, e.g. Nashim, Pilagshim, Levenim, Chitim, Se'orim and similar words.
What is the meaning of "hami'Bal'adei Anasheinu"?
Rashi: Did we do so on their own, without the knowledge of our husbands?! Malbim - do you think that foolish women do so on their own, to worship Meleches ha'Shamayim?! Our husbands, who are Chachamim, knew!
The women said so, for it says "hami'Bal'adei Anasheinu." Why did only they say so?
Radak: They were the primary ones [who offered].
Malbim: Only women would be suspected of worshipping Meleches ha'Shamayim?! Did we offer without the knowledge of our husbands, who are Chachamim?!
What are "Kavanim"?
Rashi: They are molds.
Radak: They are kinds of food that they prepared and offered to Meleches ha'Shamayim.
Radak citing Targum Yonasan: It is a robe.
Malbim: They are images that will direct towards the influence of the star. It is like a mold of the star to pour on it its blessing. For this intent we poured libations, and not for the sake of worship!
What is "Leha'atzivah"?
Rashi: [The molds are] in a sad form.
Radak: This is a euphemism; it means to make it 1 happy. Usually it is a Mapik Hei (with a Dagesh, i.e. dot inside, for it is in place of 'Osah' (it, feminine)); here it is not. We find like this sometimes.
