Where is "li'Fnimah"?
Rashi: It is to the wall that divides between the Heichal and Kodshei Kodoshim.
Radak, Malbim: It is Lifnai v'Lifnim ? to the Dvir (Kodesh ha'Kodoshim).
What was two Amos?
Rashi: The thickness of Eil ha'Pesach. This is unlike the Amah Traksin (in Bayis Rishon, a wall of one Amah divided between the Heichal and Kodshei Kodoshim).
Radak: The Eilim of the Pesach, one on each side. Each was two wide.
The verse says that the Pesach was seven Amos wide. What was six Amos?
Rashi: I can explain this only regarding its height.
Radak: The thickness of the Pesach. Vilna Gaon ? this is with the Eilim; the Pesach itself was four wide. The width was seven Amos from north to south.
Malbim: It says below (23-24) that there were two doors to Kodesh ha'Kodoshim ? one inside and one outside. The width of the interior of the opening was seven Amos. The width each of the doors that close the opening was only six Amos. There was one Amah that they did not seal ? a Paroches was there. (The outer door was attached in the north; it left an Amah open in the south. The inner was attached in the south; it left an Amah open in the north.) The inner open Amah was not opposite the outer open Amah. The Stam Tana (Yuma 5:1) holds that also in Bayis Sheni, there were two Parochos.
