Why does the verse address "Yisrael Avdi"?

1.

Rashi: This is connected to "Al Tira Ki Imecha Ani" (10) 1 . I did all this for Avraham, who did not descend from Tzadikim. [All the more so I will do so for] you, who are acquired to me from two Avos!

2.

Radak: You are unlike the nations. You are My servants, and I chose you to be My servant, for you are the seed of Avraham Ohavi.

1

Malbim: Do not fear lest I abandon you. Sometimes a king loves his servant because he serves faithfully, and he needs him. Sometimes without reason he chose to [love and] elevate him. The former has an attribute - the king needs him. However, if he finds another servant that can do his need better, he will take him instead. He will not replace a servant chosen amidst love. Yisrael need not fear, for they have both attributes. Yisrael were chosen due to Avdi, and Yakov (the lower of the nation) were chosen amidst love.

2)

Why is Avraham called "Ohavi"?

1.

Rashi: He did not recognize Me amidst rebuke and teaching of his fathers, rather, amidst love.

2.

Radak: He clung to Me and went out from idolaters.

3)

Why does it say "Zera Avraham Ohavi"?

1.

Malbim: Even if Yisrael's actions will sour, and it would be worthy to hate them, since their fathers were Ohavei ha'Melech who made a Bris with Him, He will never despise them.
