What does the Torah mean when it writes "u'Vikashtem mi'Sham es Hashem Elokecha, u'Matzasa"?

1.

Seforno: The Torah is predicting here that they will find Hashem even though there is no Beis Hamikdash and there are no Holy Vessels - because they will seek Him with all their hearts ... .

2.

Targum Onkelos and Targum Yonasan: It means 'You will seek to attain Yir'as Hashem and you will find it (because Hashem will have mercy on you

Why does the Torah add the (otherwise superfluous) word "u'Vikashtem mi'Sham ... "?

1.

Oznayim la'Torah: #1: If the suffering that preceded the Galus did not cause Yisrael to do Teshuvah, Galus in conjunction with poverty, did!

2.

Oznayim la'Torah #2: Not only will Yisrael realize that Hashem is their G-d; they will also realize that they are not in their correct place and Daven towards Ertetz Yisrael.

3)

Why does the Pasuk begin in the plural ("u'Vikashtem"), and ends in the singular ("u'Matzasa")?

1.

Oros ha'Gra (from the Likut at the end of Aderes Eliyahu): Like the Gemara says in Rosh Hashanah, 18a Two people entered to Daven, but only one was answered - because he Davened with intent. 1
