What do we learn from "Chayim Hem l'Motze'eihem"?

1.

Eruvin 54a: Open your mouth [and say the words] when you learn Torah, in order that you will remember it and live a long time. We read 'Motz'eihem like 'Motza'eihem' (those who say the words).

2.

Rashi: Motz'eihem is an expression of a Metzi'ah (found object). R. Yonah - they are life for one who toils for them until he finds them. It is not common to find something without toil. Here it hints to removing laziness. Do not believe one who says that he toiled in Torah and did not find (success), nor one who says that he found without toiling. If he says that he toiled and found, believe him (Megilah 6b). Perhaps removing laziness applies to all Midos and warnings. One cannot beware of forgetting the Ikar and forgetting the occasion and other Midos, with laziness. Surely removing laziness of the heart and thinking is among the other Midos. One must remove laziness of acting - it causes loss of Mitzvos when one delays fulfilling them. The time for Musaf is the entire day, but one who delays praying Musaf until seven hours] is called negligent (Brachos 28a). Removing laziness is part of Zehirus. After finishing Zehirus, it says "Lech El Nemalah Atzel" (6:6), because laziness is the opposite of Zehirus, therefore it demeans laziness, like the way of this Sefer, like I explained above (20). It says "Derech Atzel ki'Mesuchas Chadek" (15:19).

3.

Malbim: Motz'eihem is one who finds them; Torah and Chachmah are a Kinyan for him. They are life, i.e. of the Nefesh.

4.

Ma'alos ha'Torah (citing the Zohar, DH b'Farashas Beha'alosecha): One who abandons Divrei Torah and separates from Torah, it is as if he separates from life.

2)

What do we learn from "ul'Chol Besaro Marpei"?

1.

Refer to 1:9:1:6.

2.

Malbim: They heal the body. They are the life of the Nefesh and body! Also for one whose systems are faulty and became ill, they heal him, but not like medicines, for which each limb needs a special medicine. The medicine of Torah helps for all limbs, and for all illnesses!
