Malbim: Even though Gil is only at the first time that he hears the good tidings, it will sprout, and there will be constant Gilah via new miracles.
Why does it say "Gilas"?
Radak: The Sov is in place of a Hei; it should say Gilah.
Why does it say "v'Ranan"?
Rashi: This is like u'Leranen.
Radak: V'Ranan is Makor (like an infinitive).
Malbim: All Simchah is mixed with sighing, and at the end worry, when the Simchah departs. Here it will be constant Gilah and Renen of the heart.
What is "Levanon"?
Rashi: It is the Beis ha'Mikdash.
Malbim: It is a forest full of tall cedars. It has honored, but not beautiful. The Karmel and Sharon are beautiful, but not honored, for their flowers sprout and wither. They will have honor via Gevurah like Levanon, and beauty via wealth and other attributes like Karmel and Sharon.
What received "Kevod ha'Levanon"?
Radak: Eretz Yisrael.
Who will see Kevod Hashem?
Radak: Bnei Yisrael, when they return to their land, will see Kevod Hashem return to Yerushalayim.
Why does it say "Kevod Hashem" and "Hadar Elokeinu"?
Malbim: Shem Hashem alludes to the Creator, and the Conductor of the world. He acts with Hashgachah amidst nature. Shem Elokeinu hints to His connection to Yisrael via miracles and wonders for their needs. He is glorified through this.
