Why does the Torah not mention the Nesi'im's participation in the division, following Hashem's instructions in Pasuk 26?

Ramban #1 and Moshav Zekenim (in Pasuk 23) #1: Because it is obvious that they carried out Moshe's instructions.

Ramban #2 and Moshav Zekenim (on Pasuk 23) #2: Bearing in mind that the issue here was purely monetary, to prevent the people from suspecting Elazar of taking more than his share of the tax, Hashem included the Nesi'im as a voluntary measure. 1 And the people responded by announcing that they did not suspect Elazar, in which case the Nesi'im's participation was unnecessary.

Ramban: As opposed to the census in Bamidbar (See 1:44), where the inclusion of the Nesi''im was obligatory.
