Why does the Torah insert the (otherwise superfluous) word "ve'Chagosem Chag la'Hashem"?

Beitzah, 19a: To teach us that whatever is for Hashem may be brought on Yom-Tov - permitting Olos and Shelamim (of Yom-Tov) to be brought on Yom-Tov, and to lean one's hands on them. 1
