Were also the Mizlagos of gold?
Malbim: Some were [like it says here 1 ]. Others were of copper (Divrei ha'Yamim II, 4:16). Even though it does not mention them there among the gold Kelim (ibid., 22), in Melachim it does not mention Mizlagos at all! Here, Ezra mentioned them along with Mizrakos.
It seems that this is Malbim's intent; the text must be fixed. (PF)
What are "Keforei ha'Zahav"?
'Rashi': They are Klei Shares to clean blood from Kelim. Radak, from Zevachim 25a - one cleans the blood from the knife on the edge of the Mizrak. Kaparah is an expression of cleaning, like 'a certain man was Kaper his hands on another's garment' (Bava Metzi'a 24a).
Malbim: It is a kind of Mizrak mentioned in Ezra (1:10).
