Rashi: He pushes to get wealthy from money of Aniyim.

2.

Malbim: This is Akshus in the way of diligence. There are two paths - one is initially thorns and the end is straight. This is one who works his field. Initially he toils, and in the end he is quiet, and believes. After, he is satiated with bread from Hashem's Brachah and the fruits of his hands. One path is initially straight and the end is thorns. He is "Meradef Reikim" (Malbim 12:11 - he pursues to get his income via rest and not working his land). In the end he is avid to become rich via murder. He will not be cleansed; in the end, he will inherit poverty.
