We shear sheep at the end of winter, for they do not need their wool in summer. (PF)

I found this only in Bereishis Rabasi Vayera p.78, and there it says because they are Mechaves (launder) or Kovesh (suppress) the sins of Yisrael! (PF)

What do we learn from "u'Mechir Sadeh Atudim"?

Malbim, from Chulin 84a: One should sell his field, and use the money to buy goats.

Rashi: The goats will be with to you the price of a field - you will eat the meat and sell the skins.
