What do we learn from "Chacham Bni v'Smach Libi"?

Rashi: My son - become wise, and my heart will rejoice in you.

Malbim: Even if until now you did not receive the laws of Chachmah, become a Chacham from now, and my heart will rejoice. Until now they reviled me due to you - 'cursed is he who fathered and raised him' (Sanhedrin 52a). Now "I will answer those who disgrace me"!
