What are "b'Chitei Minis"?

Rashi: It is a place where the wheat is good. This is like "Ad Bo'acha Minis" (Shoftim 11:33).

Rashi citing a Midrash: They are nice, fat wheat [kernels] sold via Minyan (number).

Rashi citing Targum Yonasan: Wheat of Richush. This is a collection of many bundles. We find like this in Pesikta - just like myrtle has bundles of leaves, Leah has bundles of children 1 . Sometimes Yonason translates according to the simple meaning, and sometimes according to the Drashah.

Rashi citing R. Shimon citing Targum Yerushalmi: D'Chulsha. Rashi ? in the Gemara, this refers to peeled barley.

Rashi Minis is an expression of Manos (portions) of food.

What is "u'Fanag"?

Rashi and Radak, citing Yosef ben Guryon ha'Kohen: It is an Afarsimon (balsam) tree. They are common in Yericho. It is called Yericho due to the nice Rei'ach (smell)! Also refer to 27:17:3:1.

Radak: It is the name of a place.

Targum Yonasan: Kulya. Radak ? Chazal said (Eruvin 28b) that one may make an Eruv with Kalya (the vegetable, which is edible, but not the stalk, which is hard like wood).

Radak citing the Aruch: It is an herb that we burn it, and put its ashes in soap.

What is "Tzori"?

Radak: It is balsam oil.

What is the meaning of "Nasnu Ma'aravech"?

Targum Yonasan: They put in your stores. Radak ? he already explained that Ma'aravech is merchandise.

Malbim: [Yehudah and Yisrael took the matters in the previous verse to sell;] they gave the matters in our verse, which are abundant in Eretz Yisrael, for security.
