What are the connotations of "Sheva al Chatoseichem"?

Rashi and Targum Yonasan: It means (not seven punishments for each sin, 1 but) another seven punishments that correspond to the seven sins listed above, should you persist in transgressing them

Ramban: Refer to 26:15:3:3*.

R. Bachye (according to Kabalah): "Sheva" is another reference to the Midah "Zos". 2

4.

Rashbam: The Pasuk simply means 'many punishments for your sins', 3 and the number seven is not meant literally.
