What is "Tishpos [Shalom]"?

Rashi: Prepare. Similarly, "Sefos ha'Sir" (Melachim II, 4:38), "Maves Tishpeseni" (Tehilim 22:16).

Radak: Arrange. This is like "Sefos ha'Sir." Arrange Shalom for us, for this is in Your hands, just like You did all that happened to us. We had many days of pain in Galus; from now, give to us Shalom!

Why does it standy "Gam"?

Malbim: I ask that You punish the Resha'im, for they already filled their measure of sin (11). Also us, our measure of punishment for our sins was filled. From now, we should have Shalom!

Does this refer to all our deeds?

1.

Rashi: It is all our bad deeds.

2.

Radak: It is all worldly things that happened to us - good and bad.

What is the meaning of "Pa'alta Lanu"?

1.

Rashi: You punished us for all our sins.

2.

Radak: You did [all that happened to us]; it was not chance.

3.

Radak citing his father: When You arrange for us Shalom, You did all our deeds, for everything depends on Shalom.
