Why does the Torah repeat the words "be'Yom ha'Shabbos"?

1.

Sifra: To teach us that both replacing the old loaves with the new ones, and burning the frankincense on the Mizbe'ach are performed on Shabbos itself.

2.

Oznayim la'Torah: To stres the importance of distributing the Lechem ha'Panim on Shabbos daytime - because otherwise, the Kohanim who served in the Beis-Hamikdash would have nothing to eat. 1

See Oznayim la'Torah, who elaborates.

2)

What is the procedure in connection with the Lechem ha'Panim that takes place every Shabbos?

1.

Rashi (in Pesachim, 58a): Every Shabbos the Kohanim replace the old loaves with the new ones, and burn the frankincense on the Mizbe'ach. 1

Refer to 24:8:0.1:1 and see Torah Temimah, note 19.

3)

What are the connotations of "Tamid" in this Pasuk?

1.

Rashi (in Chagigah, 26b): "Tamid" in this Pasuk 1 means literally permanently, day and night, since the loaves remain on the Shulchan from Shabbos to Shabbos. 2

1

Refer to 24:2:3:1.

2

Menachos 99b (according to the Chachamim): And when replacing the loaves, two Kohanim place the new loaves simultaneously with the removal of the old ones. According to R. Yossi there, as long as the Shulchan does not spend a night without bread, it is considered Tamid.
