What is "me'Eretz Megureihem"?
Rashi: The land of their exile.
Why will they not come to Eretz Yisrael?
Rashi: I will kill them in the Midbar. Radak - I will not kill them amidst their enemies, lest their enemies rejoice over them. Malbim - this is like Ge'ulas Egypt. [Pharaoh] ruled over them with a strong hand and harsh labor, and Hashem took them, made a Bris with them and the evil generation perished in the Midbar and did not enter the land.
