Who is a Rash?

Rashi (citing a Midrash): Yes; this refers to Yosef; his brothers hated him.

R. Yonah: Yes. Also here, Shlomo intends to arouse the Atzel, and inform the damage that comes from needing [money from] people. His brothers hate him, for they are disgraced that he is their relative.

Why does it say "Ki Mere'ehu Rachaku Mimenu"?

Rashi: [Even his relatives hate him,] and all the more so his friends and lovers.

R. Yonah: His relatives hate him because they would be disgraced via his company. Friends do not hate him; they distance from him, and then they are not disgraced.

What is the meaning of "Meradef Amarim Lo Hemah"?

1.

Rashi #1: He says, Ploni and Almoni are my relatives; Shmerel and Berel are my friends. It is all folly.

Rashi #2: He seeks to give Halachic ruling, and he cannot [for he is poor in Torah].

Rashi (from Yerushalmi Pe'ah 1:1, Bereishis Rabah 84:7): This refers to Yosef. We read "Lo" with an Aleph. His Leshon ha'Ra returned on him. He said that his brothers eat Ever Min ha'Chai; even when they sinned (decided to kill him), "va'Yishchatu Se'ir Izim 1 " (Bereishis 37:31). He said that [Bnei Leah] belittle Bnei ha'Shefachos, therefore he was sold to be a slave. He said that his brothers put their eyes on girls of the land - Hashem incited the bear (Eshes Potifar) against him.

R. Yonah: He pursues to speak in front of them (people who supply his needs) false matters. He is constantly [speaking] Kezev and flattery to please them. Flattery is a very bad and bitter Midah - "b'Feh Chanef Yashchis Re'ehu" (11:9).

The Shechitah did not harm Yosef. It seems that Midah k'Neged Midah is merely to inform the sinner why he is being punished. However, Lot's wife became a pillar of salt, Midah k'Neged Midah (Rashi Bereishis 19:26, based on Targum 'Yonason' on that verse). This was not to inform her! (PF)
