Having already instructed the Levi'im to give T'rumas Ma'aser, what is "mi'Kol Matnoseichem Tarimu" referring to?

1.

Rashi: It refers to Terumah Gedolah, which the Levi is obligated to take before taking T'rumas Ma'aser, in the event that he precedes the Kohen to the granary (after the threshing has taken place) 1 and receives Ma'aser Rishon.

2.

Temurah, 4b: It extends the Mitzvah to give the Kohen Terumah even from Bikurim which the owner has not yet separated - rendering the La'av of not giving Terumah 2 before Bikurim a 'La'av ha'Nitk la'Asei', which is not subject to Malkos.

3.

Temurah, 4b: It is an Asei to give Bikurim even after having transgressed the La?av of separating Terumah first 3 ? rendering it a La?av ha?Nitak la?Asei, which is Patur from Malkos.

2)

What are the implications of "mi'Kol Chelbo"?

1.

Temurah, 5a: It implies that one is forbidden to separate from the bad on to the good. 1

2.

Yerushalmi T'rumos, 2:1: It implies that one is permitted to separate from Tahor on to Tamei. 2

1

It is not however, subject to Malkos. See Torah Temimah, note 119.

2

See Torah Temimah, note 120.

3)

What are the implications of "mi'Kol Chelbo es Mikd'sho Mimenu"?

1.

Yerushalmi T'rumos, 2:1 #1: It implies that one may separate T'rumas Ma'aser from Tahor on to Tamei. 1

2.

Yerushalmi T'rumos, 2:1 #2: It teaches us that, if the Levi receives Ma'aser from the crops whilst they are still stalks (before the Miru'ach), he is Patur from Terumsh Gedolah. 2

3.

Yerushalmi T'rumos, 2:1 #3: "Mimenu" implies that Terumah Gedolah must be taken from what is next to it (min ha'Mukaf). 3

4.

Yerushalmi T'rumos, 4:6: It implies that if what one separated from the pile - Ma'aser min ha'Ma'ser (one hundreth) falls back into the pile, it does not become Bateil - in which case Terumah 4 only becomes Bateil one in a hundred and one (including the one that fell in).
