What is the meaning of "va'Ytzav Es Beiso"?

1.

Radak: He commanded about matters of his house and inheritance, like one who is about to die.

2)

Why did he kill himself?

1.

Radak: He preferred to kill himself, and David should not kill him. He knew that since his counsel was not done, Avshalom and all with him would fall in the hands of David.

2.

Malbim: Until now, he strove [to persuade them] to do like his counsel. When he heard that David crossed the Yarden, he knew that Hashem annulled his counsel and He will return David to his kingship, and David will kill him and take his property. The king takes the property of people that he kills.

3)

Why does it mention that he was buried [near] his father's grave?

1.

Malbim: This was another reason to kill himself; had David killed him, he would not be buried there (or be able to command about his property, for David would take it).
