Menachos, 10a: To teach us that, whenever the Torah uses the word "Etzba" or 1 'Kehnnah', it means the right finger.

Sifra: It implies seven full sprinklings as opposed to seven drops. Consequently, the Kohen is obligated to dip his finger into oil before each sprinkling.

Rashi: It means exactly opposite the Kodesh Kodshim. 1
