Vilna Gaon: It is a Tavshil (cooked dish). These close 1 [to Chevron] were able to bring a Tavshil before it would spoil.

These three tribes are not so close to Yehudah (which is in the south), especially Naftoli and Zevulun. The Vilna Gaon's maps of Eretz Yisrael (printed after his Perush on Yehoshua) shows that these are the northernmost tribes, except for part of Dan! (PF)
