What do we learn from "Lapid Buz l'Ashtos Sha'anan"?

1.

Rashi: The fire of Gehinom stands for one who is serene in his thoughts, and says 'I will have Shalom.'

2.

Ibn Ezra: This is like "Im b'Fido Lahen Shu'a" - due to the breakage that came to him, they disgrace him. Ashtos is like "Ulai Yis'ashes Elokim", "Avdu Eshtonosav" (his plans).

3.

Devar Eliyahu: Lapid is one who always has a broken spirit. One who is serene in his thoughts, he disgraces him.

4.

Malbim: You said that one who knows that he is a total Tzadik, he could be a Rasha, and he does not know that he is Nachon l'Mo'adei Ragel (prepared to stumble, be cut off and perish). From one side, this is a joke to say that he is a Rasha]. On the other side, it is a burning torch of disgrace to think that he is proper for punishments for his sins.
