1)

How did he cling to His Edos?

1.

Radak: He learned them constantly.

2)

What shame does he ask to be spared from?

1.

Radak: The shame of not understanding Your Edos properly, since I engage in them constantly.

2.

Malbim: This is a statement. It says "Gal me'Alai Cherpah va'Vuz Ki Edosecha Natzarti" (22). People should not disgrace him because he has evil in this world; they will bring a proof from Edosecha, that You give reward to Tzadikim and punish Resha'im. If I have evil in this world, it will be shameful, since I clung to Your Edos! I ask to be spared from this shame, even though I chose the path of Emunah, [and know that] the Tzadik will receive reward in the world to come corresponding to what he suffered in this world.
