Here it says that Aviyah's mother was Ma'achah bas Avshalom. Elsewhere, she is called Ma'achah bas Avishalom (Melachim I, 15:2) and Michayahu bas Uri'el (below, 13:2)!
'Rashi' citing the Yerushalmi 1 : Divrei ha'Yamim gives her real name, for it is the Sefer of lineage of Yehudah. Ralbag (Melachim I, 15:2): He was Avshalom ben David 1 . Because Avshalom did not treat David like a father (he rebelled against him), he is not attributed to David.
Malbim: Avshalom was a commoner (this is not David's son); see 11:20:1:2 and the note there.
Ralbag: Because Aviyah came from a Rasha, he did evil in Hashem's eyes. (According to the opinion that all Avshalom's children died in his lifetime (refer to Shmuel II, 18:18:3:1,2 and the note there), it was not Avshalom ben David. - PF)
Why does it name only three of his wives?
Ralbag (Melachim I, 15:2): It is because these three were from Rechav'am's family.
