3)

Why, by Sheratzim, does the Torah first discuss the Dinim of Tum'ah and then (in Pasuk 41), the Isur Achilah, and by the animals, it discussed them in the rePasuk order?

1.

Oznayim la'Torah: Bear in mind that the objective of the current Parshah is to draw a distinction between Tahor and Tamei and between Mutar and Asur. 1 Consequently, regarding the animals, the Torah first differentiated between the species that one may eat and those which one may not, before presenting the Din of Neveilah, which a. is uncommon and b. is not subject to distinction (since all Neveillos are Asur). Regarding the Sheratzim on the other hand, the Torah first differentiates between those that are ATamei (the eight species) and those that are Tahor before mentioning that they may not be eaten ? which is equal to all Sheratzim.
