Menachos, 28a: They would have been Kasher- despite the fact that the Torah wrote "Mikshah ? Vehayu" - since, in connection wih the Menorah, in 8:2, the Torah wrote "Kishah hi", implying that the Menorah must be beaten out of one piece, but not the trumpets.
