Why does the Torah insert the (otherwise superfluous) word "Eileh Mas'ei B'nei Yisrael ... Va'yisa'u"?

Rashi:"Eileh Mas'ei" refers to the order in which they traveled, 1 whereas ?Va'yisa'u? informs us that they traveled on the same day that the Cloud rose, on the twentieth of Iyar. 2
