Rashi: Also they went to conquer a place in their portion, i.e. Beis Kel.

Why was Hashem with them? Pesel Michah was with them, for Michah was from Efrayim (17:1, and Pesel Michah was all the days of Mishkan Shilo (18:31, like Rashi writes there)!
