What is the significance of "Eser Yados"?
Ibn Ezra: Perhaps 10 is not precise. It just means many, e.g. "me'Asarah Shalitim", for it is the completion of the units.

Malbim: Whenever Nebuchadnetzar gathered his Chachamim to ask something, their Chochmah was 10 times greater than all the others'.
Who are "Chartumim"?
Rashi: They ask Timei (bones of) Mesim.
Ibn Ezra (2:2): They are scientists who know the nature of everything, and all whispers (if witchcraft). And so it says "Chartumei Mitzrayim."
Malbim (2:2): They do matters stealthily, based on hidden natures.
Who are "Ashafim"?
Rashi citing Tanchuma: They are Dochek Mazal (try to get what is destined for them before its time).
Ibn Ezra (2:2): They are doctors.
Malbim (2:2): They are astrologers.
