5) Types of darkness -

In the Midrash, the Sages differ as to whether this Choshech came from the Choshech of on High (see Tehilim 18:12), or from the Choshech of Gehinom (see Iyov 10:21-22). What are these different types of Choshech?

What was the total duration of the Plague of Darkness?

7) Cut short -

Rashi (to Shemos 7:25) writes that each plague lasted seven days. Yet Rashi (to 10:22) tells us here, that the plague of Choshech lasted for only six days! Why was Choshech different?

8) Two phases -

According to Rashi (to Shemos 10:22), the Plague of Darkness came in two stages - during the first three days the Egyptians could not see; and then for the next three days they could not even move! as such, it was unique among the Ten Plagues (which usually remained the same throughout their duration)!

9) To be continued -

If the Plague of Darkness lasted for only six days, when was its seventh day fulfilled? Which of the two types of darkness discussed above, did this final day comprise?
