ZACHREINU

1) וכתבנו בספר החיים -

The Gemara (Rosh Hashanah 16a) teaches us that man's judgement is inscribed on Rosh Hashanah, and sealed on Yom Kippur. If so, why throughout the Ten Days of Repentance do we continue to ask to be "inscribed" in the Book of Life? After Rosh Hashanah, shouldn't we should ask to be "sealed" therein?

2) Omission -

What are the views of the Rishonim, as to whether one must repeat if he omitted "Zachreinu," etc.?

UV'CHEN, TEN PACHDECHA

3) ובכן צדיקים... -

Why will these different levels of Tzadikim respond to the revelation of Hashem's Glory in different ways? At the same time, what will "burn up" the evil-doers?

HA'MELECH HA'KADOSH

4) Reason -

Isn't acknowledging Hashem as G-d, a much greater praise than acknowledging Him as King? Why then do we make this change during Aseres Yemei Teshuvah?

1. Yosef Da'as to Berachos 12:p4, ד"ה כל השנה

HA'MELECH HA'MISHPAT

5) Omission -

If one concluded the Berachah in the normal manner, "Melech Ohev...", must he repeat?

1. Yosef Da'as to Berachos 12:p4, ד"ה והלכתא

YOM HA'ZIKARON

6) A Unique Conclusion -

On Rosh Hashanah (and Yom Kipur), why don't we conclude the Berachah with the standard text for Yom Tov, "Mekadesh Yisrael veha'Zemanim"?

1. Yosef Da'as to Eruvin 40:p2, ד"ה מהו לומר

7) ... and Rosh Chodesh? -

Why don't we mention that Rosh Hashanah is also Rosh Chodesh?
