And it is said: "And G-d heard their outcry, and G-d remembered His covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob" (Exodus 2:24). And it is said: "And I will remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember, and the Land I will remember" (Leviticus 26:42).
ובדברי קדשך כתוב לאמר: זֵכֶר עָשָׂה לְנִפְלְאוֹתָיו חַנּוּן וְרַחוּם ה' (תהלים קיא:ד). ונאמר: טֶרֶף נָתַן לִירֵאָיו יִזְכֹּר לְעוֹלָם בְּרִיתוֹ (תהלים קיא:ה). ונאמר: וַיִּזְכֹּר לָהֶם בְּרִיתוֹ וַיִּנָּחֵם כְּרֹב חֲסָדָו (תהלים קו:מה). And it is said: "And I shall remember my covenant with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish for you an everlasting covenant" (Ezekiel 16:60). And it is said: "Is Efraim is a dear son to me? Or a playful child? For as I speak about him, I remember him yet again. Therefore My innards yearn for him, I will surely have mercy on him, says Hashem" (Jeremiah 31:19).
א-לקינו וא-לקי אבותינו, זכרנו בזכרון טוב לפניך ופקדנו בפקודת ישועה ורחמים משמי שמי קדם. וזכר לנו ה' א-לקינו את הברית ואת החסד ואת השבועה אשר נשבעת לאברהם אבינו בהר המריה. ותראה לפניך עקדה שעקד אברהם אבינו את יצחק בנו על גבי המזבח וכבש רחמיו לעשות רצונך בלבב שלם. כן יכבשו רחמיך את כעסך מעלינו, ובטובך הגדול ישוב חרון אפך מעמך ומעירך (ומארצך) ומנחלתך. וקים לנו ה' א-לקינו את הדבר שהבטחתנו בתורתך על ידי משה עבדך מפי כבודך, כאמור: וְזָכַרְתִּי לָהֶם בְּרִית רִאשֹׁנִים אֲשֶׁר הוֹצֵאתִי אֹתָם מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם לְעֵינֵי הַגּוֹיִם לִהְיוֹת לָהֶם לֵא-לֹקִים אֲנִי ה' (ויקרא כו:מה). כי זוכר כל הנשכחות אתה הוא מעולם ואין שכחה לפני כסא כבודך ועקדת יצחק לזרעו היום ברחמים תזכור. ברוך אתה ה', זוכר הברית.	O our G-d, and the G-d of our fathers, remember us with a good remembrance before You, and take account of us with salvation and mercy from the very heavens of old. And remember for us, Hashem, our G-d, the covenant, the kindness, and the oath that you swore to Abraham our father on Mount Moriah. And may it be seen before You, the Akeidah that Abraham our father bound his son Isaac upon the altar, and he overcame his mercy to do Your will with a wholesome heart. So too, may Your mercy overcome Your anger from upon us, and in Your great goodness may Your fierce anger turn away from Your people, from Your city, (from Your Land,) and from Your inheritance. And fulfill for us, Hashem, our G-d, the word that You promised us in your Torah through Moses your servant, from the mouth of Your Glory, as stated: "And I will remember for them the covenant of the first ones, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the nations, to be unto them G-d; I am Hashem" (Leviticus 26:45). For You remember all that is forgotten, since eternity, and there is no forgetfulness before Your Throne of Glory, and the binding of Isaac for his seed today, may You remember in mercy. Blessed are You, Hashem, Who remembers the covenant.
