ו. אין פוחתין מעשרה מלכיות מעשרה זכרונות מעשרה שופרות. רבי יוחנן בן נורי אומר אם אמר שלש שלש מכולן יצא. אין מזכירין זכרון מלכות ושופר של פורענות. מתחיל בתורה ומשלים בנביא, רבי יוסי אומר אם השלים בתורה יצא:

הני עשרה מלכיות כנגד מי? אמר רבי לוי, כנגד עשרה הלולים שאמר דוד בספר תהילים. הלולים טובא הוו? הנך דכתיב בהו הַלְלוּהוּ בְּתֵקַע שׁוֹפָר (תהלים קנ). רב יוסף אמר כנגד עשרת הדברות שנאמרו לו למשה בסיני. רבי יוחנן אמר כנגד עשרה מאמרות שבהן נברא העולם.

6. There must be no less than ten Pesukim for Malchuyos, Zichronos and Shofaros. R. Yochanan ben Nuri: If he said three Pesukim for each, he is Yotzei. We do not mention Pesukim of Malchuyos, Zichronos and Shofaros that deal with punishment. We begin with a Pasuk from Torah, and finish with one from Nevi'im. R. Yosi: If one finishes with a Pasuk from Torah, he is Yotzei.

What do the ten Pesukim of Malchuyos correspond to? R. Levi: The ten expressions of Hallel in Tehilim, i.e., the ten with which we say to praise Him with Shofar (Tehilim 150). R. Yosef: They correspond to the Ten Commandments. R. Yochanan: They correspond to the Ten Utterances with which the world was created.
