מִי זֶה יַעֲמֹד לְכַפֵּר שְׁגָגָה וְלִמְחֹל חַטַּאת עֲוֹן אֲבוֹתֵינוּ:	Who shall stand up to atone for the misdeed; and to bring pardon for the sin, the iniquity of our fathers?
נֵץ פָּרַח מִלּוּלָב. הֵן הֲדַסָּה עָמְדָה לְעוֹרֵר יְשֵׁנִים:	A shoot spouted form the Lulav; behold Hadassah arose to awaken the sleeping.
סָרִיסֶיהָ הִבְהִילוּ לְהָמָן לְהַשְׁקוֹתוֹ יֵין חֲמַת תַּנִּינִים:	Her eunuchs confounded Haman, to give him wine of the venomous serpents.
עָמַד בְּעָשְׁרוֹ וְנָפַל בְּרִשְׁעוֹ. עָשָׂה לוֹ עֵץ וְנִתְלָה עָלָיו:	He stood up in his wealth, then fell in his wickedness; he constructed a gallows, and was then hanged upon it.
פִּיהֶם פָּתְחוּ כָּל יוֹשְׁבֵי תֵבֵל. כִּי פוּר הָמָן נֶהְפַּךְ לְפוּרֵנוּ:	All the inhabitants of civilization opened their mouths [in song]; for the lots of Haman was transformed to our Purim.
צַדִּיק נֶחֱלַץ מִיַּד רָשָׁע. אוֹיֵב נִתַּן תַּחַת נַפְשׁוֹ:	The righteous was delivered from the hand of the wicked; the enemy given over in place of himself.
קִיְּמוּ עֲלֵיהֶם לַעֲשׂוֹת פּוּרִים וְלִשְׂמֹחַ בְּכָל שָׁנָה וְשָׁנָה:	They established upon them to make Purim, and to rejoice each and every year.
רָאִיתָ אֶת תְּפִלַּת מָרְדְּכַי וְאֶסְתֵּר. הָמָן וּבָנָיו עַל הָעֵץ תָּלִיתָ:	You saw the prayer of Mordecai and Esther; You hanged Haman and his sons on the gallows.
שׁוֹשַׁנַּת יַעֲקֹב צָהֲלָה וְשָׂמֵחָה בִּרְאוֹתָם יַחַד תְּכֵלֶת מָרְדְּכָי:	The rose of Jacob cheered and rejoiced; when they all saw the blue robes of Mordechai.
תְּשׁוּעָתָם הָיִיתָ לָנֶצַח. וְתִקְוָתָם בְּכָל דּוֹר וָדוֹר:	You have always been their deliverance; and their hope in every generation.
לְהוֹדִיעַ שֶׁכָּל קֹוֶיךָ לֹא יֵבֹשׁוּ. וְלֹא יִכָּלְמוּ לָנֶצַח כָּל הַחוֹסִים בָּךְ:	... To make it known that all who hope in You will never be humiliated; and never will those who trust in You be ashamed.
אָרוּר הָמָן אֲשֶׁר בִּקֵשׁ לְאַבְּדִי.	Cursed be Haman who sought to destroy me,
בָּרוּךְ מָרְדְּכַי הַיְּהוּדִי.	blessed be Mordechai the Jew.
אֲרוּרָה זֶרֶשׁ אֵשֶׁת מַפְחִידִי.	Cursed be Zeresh, wife of he who terrified me;
בְּרוּכָה אֶסְתֵּר בַּעֲדִי.	blessed be Esther [who interceded] on my behalf.
אֲרוּרִים כָּל הָרְשָׁעִים.	Cursed be all the wicked,
בְּרוּכִים כָּל הַצַּדִּיקִים.	blessed be all the righteous;
וְגַם חַרְבוֹנָה זָכוּר לַטּוֹב:	and also, may Charvonah be remembered for good.
