אם המטרה היא תועלת בני העיר מדוע לא להקדים מיום חמישי ליום שני הרי זו לא גזרת הכתוב ואם יש תועלת בכך וזה למען בני העיר ובתוך הזמן המותר מה הסיבה שלא מקדימים?

הכולל משיב:

תוספות הרא"ש כתב שגם אם יקדימו, יהיו בני הכפרים טרודים ביום פורים מחמת קריאת התורה.

נראה לי עוד טעם שאם יקדימו מיום חמישי ליום שני, שמא יבואו להקדים מיום שני לחמישי ויקראו בי' אדר שלא ניתן לקריאת מגילה.
