I think you mean the student of Rebbi Eliezer, but no one mentions the Talmid's name.

Rav Yakov Emden (in Hagahos ha'Ya'avetz) cites the Gemara in Kidushin 81b, where Rebbi Tarfon asked others to prevent him from having Yichud with his daughter-in-law, and a Talmid mocked this behavior. In the end, that Talmid sinned with his mother-in-law (a sin punishable by Sereifah). Rav Yakov Emden suggests that since Rebbi Tarfon and Rebbi Eliezer lived in the same generation, perhaps the Talmid was the same person.
