I read that Jewish law prohibits one to marry one who repulses them. I was wondering where I could find that documented. A rabbi told me Kidushin 42a but I could not find it. Thanks.

Your rabbi was correct. The Gemara in Kidushin 41a states, "It is prohibited for a person to marry a woman until he sees her, lest he find in her something repulsive and become repulsed from her, causing him to violate the verse 'You shall love your friend as yourself'."
(Of course, the word "prohibited" is not meant to be taken in the literal sense. There is no "prohibition" involved; just practical advice.)
