the gemara brings R' elezar's answer, and says that his source for kings being counted on nissan is from his deresha of the word "sheni". the gemara asks maybe its sheni B'shabbbos, and it says we dont find that written. Tosofos asks that we find it in B'reshis by creation. he answers that creation was different. becasue the second day doesn't realy mean second day of the week but rather of creation.
my question is, would this be in support to those who say that the world is 5766 years old plus 6 days of creation and we dont know how long each of those days were, and thats why tosofos answers that we dont count it as a regular day of the week, (becasue it could have been longer)?

I don't really think there is a connection. The commentaries seem to understand that Tosfos (more accurately, the Yerushalmi quoted by Tosfos) is merely pointing out that the Torah never clearly stated a reference to a day of the week, but rather a day relative to an event such as the Creation of the World. The Sfas Emes says the same thing regarding the words "ba'Yom ha'Shishi" which are stated when Bnei Yisrael collected the Man on Friday. This also does not necessarily mean Friday, but could refer to the sixth day from when the Man started to fall.
All the best,
