Shalom.
I need help 15 lines down from the top. Last word on the line is ulifroch. I'm not sure why there is not shaat heter.
When is the seed asur. Is it asur when it starts to grow and therefore there would be a shaat heter before it starts to grow, which doesn't work according to the question?
Or is it asur from the beginning once its placed in the ground and therefore there is not shaat heter, which seems to work, but Rashi seems to be saying different?
I'm not clear how we see in the hava amina there is no shaat heter in planting kilayim.
Thank you

Shalom Rav,
The Rashi to which you refer makes it clear. The Gemara at this stage thinks that it is only what grows from this point on that is forbidden, and what grows from this point on was never permitted. Consequently, it never had a She'as ha'Kasher. The original plant was permitted until it became Kil'ayim, and therefore had a She'as ha'Kasher. Hence, the Gemara refutes the question, "Zos Omeres...."
