Which orbits which is purportedly a Machlokes between the Chachmei Yisrael (who hold that the sun orbits the earth), And the Chachmei Umos-ha'Olam (who maintain that it is the earth that orbits the sun). Either way, Chazal are entitled to relate to the sun orbiting the earth (even if that is not what actually happens) because that is the way we see it.
