>>c) Answer #2: The singling out is needed even according to R. Yehudah, as the other eves of Shabbos and YomTov are restricted from Minchah onward, not from close to Minchah.<<
- Shalom !
Shalom v'bracha ! - Moyshe
[ENGLISH TRANSLATION OF QUESTION: Shalom! I do not understand why the Sugya leaves out mention of the second Mishnah in Maseches Shabbos. Why does it not mention Daf 10b of Shabbos, and Tosfos there? Perhaps the Rishonim discuss this?]
Moyshe Marcus, Eretz Israel
You must mean Shabbos 9b and not 10b. If your question is why the Gemara here does not bring the Mishnah in Shabbos, the answer can be found in the Tosfos which you mentioned: Here the Halachah under discussion is eating Matzah b'Tei'avon (or Kavod Yom Tov), whereas in Shabbos the Halachah under discussion is forgetting to pray the Tefilah of Minchah.
If I misunderstood your question, please clarify what you are asking.
