(b) A woman seized a silver cup towards payment of her
Kesuvah, and demanded food.
1. (Rava): The orphans must feed her - no one rules as
R. Shimon, who says that being owed part of the
Kesuvah is not as being owed the entire Kesuvah.
(c) Question (Rabah Brei d'Rava): A widow that sells outside
of Beis Din - must she swear?
THAT DOSEN'T FIT WHAT WE SAID FORMELY -
(Ravina): This only applies to food - but if she seized
to collect her Kesuvah, we take them from her.
AND WE ADDED:
Rava taught as Ravina.
See the NIMUKEI YOSEF at the beginning of the Perek who cites the RIF who says that the case of the silver cup is referring to where she seized it when the husband was still alive . The Halachah that Tefisah only works for Mezonos and not for her Kesuvah refers when she seized the item after the husband died (as Tosfos on 96a mentions).
