According to many opinions in the Rambam (Ishus 1:4) and others Pilegesh is forbidden anyway, so it is no better than Znus to which we apply the rule "Ain Adam Oseh Bi'ilaso Bi'ilas Znus" (see Remah E.H. 26:1).
